EUGENIE HSU: She has the widest vocal range of all the ladies in the group.
She is able to sing clear soprano tones and reach down into the tenor range as well. She began training as a pianist at age eight, studying the classical and romantic repertoire of Mozart, Beethoven, Chopin, etc. for ten years. Throughout her school years she participated in numerous school choirs. She sang with the UC Alumni Choir (UC Berkeley) in the early 90's and then developed a love of jazz. She sang soprano with the Oakland Jazz Choir for two plus years. She has been with Con Alma for over two years while pursuing a full time career as a mom and as a psychologist for Kaiser Permanente.
