BIO

CAMMY WHITE sang with the Young People's Symphony Orchestra as a youth and joined the Contra Costa Chorale for three years as an adult. She began studying vocal jazz style and repertoire with Richard Kalman in '97, and with Stephanie Bruce at the Jazzschool more recently. She joined Con Alma in 2000 and has since provided solid alto and occasionally tenor harmonies in the group's blend. Cammy's children are grown and pursuing artistic careers. Her other career is a construction project manager for Kaiser Permanente. Cammy says: "how many singers can say they've worked on building a hospital?"
